Our team here at HealthLinks Gippsland do not double book appointments so when a patient cancels or wishes to reschedule without giving enough notice they prevent another patient from being seen.

As such, we ask that all of our patients respect the following:

• We require 2 days notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us the necessary time to offer the appointment to others that are waiting to see our practitioners.

  • If you cancel the day before your appointment, you will automatically be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of your appointment fee.

  • If you cancel the day of your appointment, including non-attendance, you will automatically be charged a cancellation fee equal to the full appointment fee.

• If you do not confirm your appointment, either through responding to our reminder email (Sent 3 days before your appointment) or by responding to our admin teams confirmation call/text, there is a possibility that your appointment could be cancelled and will require you to reschedule your appointment.

Please call the practice to notify us of any changes to your upcoming appointment, as soon as you know that you need to change it and with a minimum 2 days notice, in order to avoid a cancellation fee.

If you make contact outside of office hours, please leave a voicemail or send us an email as soon as you know, as we will be taking that time as when you gave us notice.

Please rest assured that unavoidable circumstances and emergencies will be taken into account. Unless specified, all cancellation fees are automatically generated within these time frames.
